Alternative to NSAIDs
Composition:
Each capsule contains extract of Tinospora cordifolia
.......... 1.5gm.
Active constituents:
- Alkaloids : bitter diterpenoid compounds such as Columbin, Tinosporin, Tinosporaside
and other alkaloid like Berberine.
- Glycosides : such as Cordifolioside A, B & C.
Pharmacological actions and indications:

Inflammatory condition :
Syringin and cordiol are active principles of
Tinospora
cordifolia, which have potent anti-inflammatory and
anti-arthritic activity. Due to inhibition of C3 convertase and
serine protease, which indicates that involved in
anti-inflammatory activity. It significantly reduces the pain
and morning stiffness in patients having rheumatoid arthritis.
It also reduces bursitis, tendinitis,gout, stomatitis,
gingivitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, bronchitis, hepatitis,
nephritis and cystitis.

Diabetes mellitus :
Tinospora cordifolia extract increase the hexokinase
activity in the liver. It can cause the increase in glycolysis
and utilization of glucose for energy production. It also
reduces the activity of glucose 6 phosphatase in liver, which
results in decreasing the concentration of glucose in blood.

Immunoenhancement :
Tinospora cordifolia leads to stimulation of both T and
B lymphocytes. It exhibits TH-1 type immune response resulting
in enhanced macrophage phagocytosis and nitric acid production.
Thus, it can stimulate the formation of antibody from the immune
system to fight against infection.

Antioxidants :
They can not only direct destructive action on free radical but
also increase levels of glutathione and vitamin C- two of the
most important antioxidants for the body.

Antiaging and longevity :
Tinospora cordifolia has a long history of using for
anti-aging and longevity.

Unlike other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agents, it has no side

One to two capsules three times daily after meal.
