Dental caries
Composition:
Each bottle (240 ml) contains neem extract 3% and pepperment oil
0.1%.
Pharmacological actions:
- Neem has antiviral, antifungal, antibacterial properties (Streptococcus
mutans and Streptococcus faecalis) by inhibiting cell membrane
synthesis.
- Neem can prevent and suppress oral carcinogenesis.
- Neem can reduce the ability of some Streptococci to
colonize tooth surfaces and also inhibits the production of insoluble
glucan which may affect plaque formation.
Indications:
To prevent dental caries. For the treatment of toothache,
gingivitis and bad breath.
Caution:
Not to be swallowed.
Dosage:
Gargle up to one minute four times daily after meal. Use
without dilution.
