Herbicough^® provides multiple pharmacological actions to alleviate cough symptoms as follows:
O.sanctum      : Mucolytic, Antimicrobial A.vasica : Bronchodilatation
G.glabra         : Anti-irritation
C.longa          : Antimicrobial, Anti-inflammatory
T.cordifolia     : Anti-inflammatory, Antipyretic
C.aromaticus  : Mucolytic, Antipyretic
S.indicum       : Mucolytic, Bronchodilatation
A.marmelos    : Anti-allergic, Anti-irritation
F.vulgare        : Mucolytic, Anti-allergic
Z.officinale      : Mucolytic, Antimicrobial
P.longum        : Mucolytic, Anti-inflammatory
P.nigrum        : Antimicrobial, Antipyretic
Menthol         : Mucolytic

Herbicough^® syrup is a combination of mucolytic and expectorant which reduces the mucus viscosity in the bronchial tract area by breaking down the mucoprotein and acidic mucopolysaccharide in the sputum, thus facilitating expectoration. The effective volatile oil containing herbs in Herbicough^® form a protective layer over the mucus membrane of the pharynx, larynx and trachea, thereby relief mechanical irritation of the receptors and preventing the cough reflex. This cough syrup also contains extracts of anti-microbial herbs for the prevention of inflammation due to bacterial and virus infections.

Indications:

Symptomatic relief of various kinds of cough.

Caution:
Use only under medical supervision for children under 2 years, pregnancy and lactating mother. Use within one month after opening.

Dosage:

For 2 to 12 years, one teaspoonful four times daily. For adult, one tablespoonful four times daily.
